While attending Georgia State University, I wrote entertainment and culture articles for student newspaper The Signal. Topics ranged from interviewing famous rappers like Lupe Fiasco to reviewing up-and-comers (at the time) like Frank Ocean. When I reviewed local startup Scoutmob, I became so intrigued by the company and it's awesome culture that I started interning for them. My review even got my a mention in Creative Loafing.
